US prez blocks Mzansi from G20 2026 in Miami over 'Afrikaners'
US PRESIDENT Donald Trump has barred South Africa from attending the next G20 summit in Miami, as relations between the two nations hit rock bottom.
Trump, speaking on his social media platform Truth Social on Wednesday night, said he would block SA's participation in the 2026 summit - set to be hosted in Miami and stop all financial support to the country.
His controversial decision comes after SA's refusal to symbolically pass the G20 presidency to a senior US Embassy representative at the close of this year's summit in Johannesburg.
