Ottery man believed to have killed five katjies set for hof

A TRAINEE inspector was allegedly robbed at gunpoint by heartless skelms after responding to a distress call about a severely injured pony found along the N2 near Cape Town International Airport on Sunday.

The Animal Welfare Society (AWS) of SA said that when the trainee arrived at the scene, she and the gentleman who reported the incident were robbed.

AWS reports: “Despite this frightening ordeal, neither of them left the pony’s side.
