Proteas go down v Windies

THE Proteas ended their T20 series against the West Indies with a narrow defeat, but captain Aiden Markram insisted there were plenty of positives to take as both teams head to the T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.

After winning the first two matches convincingly, South Africa lost the rain and lightning-affected third and final T20 at the Wanderers by six runs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method.

The match was reduced to 10 overs a side following a vrag weather delays, creating a frantic and high-pressure contest.
