Police meet with parents and the laaities involved in violent stone-throwing

- KIM SWARTZ

MANENBERG KOU KLIPPE

MANENBERG police met with the neighbourhood’s infamous klipgooiers and their parents to end the violence after an attack on a local bhabi shop.

Klipgooing teen gangs have been terrorising residents, with cops comparing the running battles in the streets of Manenberg to gang gunfire.

Manenberg station commander Brigadier Jayce Naidoo said that some laaities were brought into the station on Wednesday, 15 October, by their gatvol parents.

He told the Daily Voice: “Stone-throwing has become the new sporadic gunfire. Only this time it’s more precise with our youth becoming targets.
