Blouberg couple in hof for shocking murder of guard

A COUPLE have been arrested and charged with the murder of a Blouberg-strand car guard after the fatal attack was caught on CCTV camera.

The man, aged 30, and the woman, 24, are expected to make their first appearance at the Cape Town Magistrate's Court today to face a charge of murder.

Their arrest follows a shocking 92-second video captured of the alleged murder, before they fled the scene in their vehicle.

The murder took place in a parking area at Marine Circle, Bloubergstrand, during the early hours of 31 August 2025.

The man is seen getting out of his vehicle and joins the car guard where they are seen talking.

The female passenger, dressed in a red top, remains behind.
