Delft father shot dead after dropping his children off at their Belhar creche

A FATHER was shot and killed yesterday morning after 7am in front of a church in Belhar after dropping his two children off at creche.

Grant Stephens of Roosendal in Delft was with his wife when they dropped off their two young boys at the Kids World ECD, situated at the Logos Assembly of God Church in Belhar, before heading off to work.

An unknown gunman approached Stephens and shot in him the head and body.

His father Saul Stephens said that the incident had left the family traumatised as his son was a family man and a hard worker.
