GANG WAR ESCALATES

A WAR erupted in Schaapkraal this week, as the suspected main konyne of both the Mongrels and No Fears gangs became targets in deadly shootouts.

It started with the death of reported Mongrels dik ding Ameerodien Du Plooy, who was shot and killed following a shooting between the two gangs last Saturday.

Mongrels gangsters apparently chased down No Fears member Keanan America and then turned their guns on arriving City of Cape Town Law Enforcement officers.

Du Plooy was shot in the face. America succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital, while Du Plooy was also declared dead at a medical facility.
