Deadly shootings bring more misery and fear as gang wars escalate
DEADLY shootings rocked the Cape Flats yesterday as reports of gun violence flooded social media.
Unconfirmed reports came in from Valhalla Park and Kalksteenfontein after shootings in Manenberg, Muizenberg and Bishop Lavis were confirmed.
Two bystanders were shot in Manenberg, while the body of a 39-year-old was found in Muizenberg and a 46-year-old man was gunned down in Bishop Lavis.
Amid the violent flareups, the Daily Voice was in Retreat where three men were shot in a drive-by shooting. The incident took place in Beethoven Street after 12pm when the occupants of a Datsun Go reportedly opened fire.
