RASSIE Erasmus says his Springboks have levelled up their fitness ahead of their opening two Rugby Championship Tests against Australia later on this month.

The defending Rugby Championship titleholders finished off their first week of training ahead of their 16 August clash against the Wallabies at Ellis Park.

Earlier in the week, Erasmus revealed that he and his management staff decided to shorten the 37-man Bok squad's holiday after the July Tests, to iron out some kinks ahead of facing fellow southern hemisphere rugby giants, Australia, Argentina and New Zealand.
