CAPE Town Spurs were relegated to the graveyard league of South Arican soccer after losing 1-0 to Durban City in their final Motsepe Foundation Championship game at Athlone Stadium yesterday.
Spurs' fall marks the end of a 26-year stay in professional football, across various incarnations of the club. They finished 15th on the standings with just 30 points, joining Leruma United in the ABC Motsepe League next season.
