A WOMAN accused of falsely claiming to be Madeleine McCann told the missing girl’s mum she remembered her hugs and begged: “Please don’t stop fighting for your little baby.”

Julia Wandelt sent Kate McCann a string of voicemails and messages begging her to take a DNA test.

Wandelt told her: “You are mummy. You know it’s me. You know I'm not crazy.
