CHRIS WILDER picked up nothing but a red card last night as Southampton beat Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane.

The Blades boss was bizarrely sent off for booting a ball into the crowd and hitting a fan.

Wilder quickly apologised to his smiling victim, but that didn't stop ref Adam Herczeg going into his pocket.

Herczeg flashed eight cards on a night that started with United striker Tyrese Campbell curling a fabulous strike into the top corner.
