POLICE hunting Gimp Man have been blasted for dubbing him "harmless".

The fetish freak-clad head-to toe in latex is menacing young women late at night in the street.

Two of his victims have fled terrified after spotting the 6ft rubber nutter this week alone.

Locals are organising vigilante patrols to try to catch him and police have stepped up patrols.
