THAMES Water is refusing to claw back £2.5million of bonuses paid to executives, it emerged last night.

The money handed out to senior managers was linked to a £3billion emergency loan.

Bosses have now been called back to appear before MPs after it emerged regulators cannot recover the sum. The cash was paid to 21 executives.
