RATS are just like vampires as they can't stand having garlic near them.

Pest controllers reckon you can keep rodents at bay from your home as they find the pong "repulsive".

Jordan Foster, of Fantastic Pest Control, suggested planting it in your garden, along with other herbs like mint.

He said: "There is no doubt rats are smart. They're good at hiding until it's too late.
