Private firms hand out 41,000 a day

DRIVERS are being slapped with more than 41,000 parking tickets per day by private firms, figures show.

They have been accused of using confusing signs, aggressive debt collection and unreasonable fees, sparking calls for major reforms to how the sector is managed.
