WELSH folk fart more than people anywhere else in Britain – three times more than average.

A surprising 30% of folk from the valleys let off at least 20 bottom burps every day, says a study.

David Williams, 43, of Tenby, Pembrokes, said he genuinely “didn’t have a clue” how many times he farted.
