SIR Cliff Richard predicted The Beatles would be a flop when he first heard them play.

But the Fab Four are still riding high in the charts over 60 years later with new single Now And Then at No.1.

Sir Cliff, 83, recalled first hearing the band in 1960, at the same time his backing group The Shadows released their instrumental Apache.
