Barlow actor oper to cobbles return

CORRIE legend Chris Gascoyne says he would return to the cobbles despite quitting the show after 23 years.

His character Peter Barlow left Weatherfield on Boxing Day, as his wife Carla gave him a one-way ticket to sail around the world with a pal.

Chris, 55, decided to leave the ITV1 show to tackle new projects, but the door is open for him to return.
