The BBC has finally confirmed a seventh run of the popular drama has been commissioned after years of speculation.

Stars Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston have signed big-money deals to reprise their roles as cops from anti-corruption unit AC-12. They will start shooting scenes on location in Belfast in the spring.
