EXAM CHIEFS BAN ‘OFFENSIVE’ WORD
THE word “squatter” has been banned from GCSE exams for being “offensive”.
Exam board OCR says the phrase “squatter settlements” - which describes people living on land they don’t own - is being ditched from geography exam papers from September.
