CHARLIE Kirk's suspected killer is in custody - after reportedly being shopped to cops by his law enforcement veteran dad.

Tyler Robinson, 22, was seized after a two-day manhunt following the assassination of the right-wing pundit.

Law enforcement officials said Utah resident Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday.

He is accused of firing the single shot that struck conservative activist Kirk, 31, in the neck and killed him as he spoke at a Utah Valley University event on Wednesday afternoon.

Sources claimed the alleged sniper confessed the killing to his father - a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department.
