SMOKE CAN RISE TO OCCASION

YOU know Christmas is just around the corner when we're back at Cheltenham in December, and it's a reminder there is plenty of exciting racing to enjoy before Boxing Day.

The Quintessentially Mares’ Handicap Chase is one such contest, with 16 runners making it the biggest field of the day.

It is no secret that Jamie Snowden is having a season to remember, and while he could take home some bigger prizes at this track in March, this race will be SHE IS FOR ME BOYS' (1.15) Gold Cup.

She is three wins from four under rules already, but with Snowden’s excellent placement runs off a mark of only 111 today. Successful on her first attempt over fences last time by five and a half lengths, it is hard to see how we won't see a repeat of that here.
