Lopez has to deliver big performances

TEOFIMO LOPEZ is a fighter like few others. Nobody has blown so hot and cold as the motormouth from Brooklyn.

But if he really wants to become a bona-fide boxing star then he has to start building on his best performances.

Lopez is a fighter who beat a superstar in Vasiliy Lomachenko and dethroned Scotland’s Josh Taylor as the king of light welterweight.

Yet for every good performance, there’s almost one to match on the other end of the scale.

Somehow he was beaten by George Kambosos Jr on the back of outpointing Lomachenko.
