COSTABacon, Mature Cheddar & Chilli Jam Hot Cross BunBy the numbers: 558 calories, 20g fat, 27g sugar, 2.5g salt.Verdict: This twist on the seasonal speciality contains more calories than a Big Mac and would take an hour's running to burn off. It has nearly half your recommended daily salt intake too.

Hot Cross BunBy the numbers: 270 calories, 22g fat, 1.7g fat, 3.7g fibre.Verdict: This more traditional offering would take about half an hour to run off, but is much lower in sugar and salt than the more savoury version, while containing extra fibre for good digestion.

Sweet Ube Hot ChocolateBy the numbers: 373 calories, 13.2g fat, 45.8g sugar.Verdict: Ube is a purple yam from the Philippines. Save over 60 calories and 10g of sugar by opting for a Sweet Ube Frappe instead.
