A BABY has undergone a lifesaving heart operation in America after his mum was backed by Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds.

One-year-old Ollie Roberts was born with a complex heart defect called pulmonary atresia with MAPCAS.

Mum Jasmin had been told by doctors in the UK and Europe that his condition was inoperable.

But the determined mum launched a £1.5m fundraising campaign to get her son treatment 5,300 miles away in California.
