Amorim reckons winner should not have stood

RUBEN AMORIM insisted Arsenal's winner should have been disallowed for a foul on error-prone keeper Altay Bayindir as Manchester United lost their opening game of the season.

Bayindir got involved in a penalty box tussle at an Arsenal corner and his weak punch allowed Riccardo Calafiori to score the all-important goal.

But Amorim (right) felt referee Simon Hooper should have blown his whistle.

The United boss said: "I understand we want goals, but when you touch the goalkeeper that way, I think it's hard. Especially to lose like this, it was a strange goal.
