Harry wants whopper of a display to repay boss

GARETH SOUTHGATE will become an England centurion today when he takes charge of his 100th game.

And Harry Kane admits the best way for the Three Lions to mark the milestone is to present the boss with a win.

Switzerland stand between England and a place in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

Defeat is unthinkable, not least because it would ruin Southgate’s big moment – and probably see him choose to ride off into the international sunset without having landed a trophy.

Kane believes Southgate deserves much more and has ordered his teammates to step up and be counted.

Southgate has tried to shield his stars from all the flak following four underwhelming performances.

And Kane knows the time has come for the team to repay him.

He said: “Ultimately, it’s us who have to go out and play the way we want to play, and make the difference in vital moments.
