Clarke aiming to book Scotland a finals date

SCOTLAND manager Steve Clarke has challenged his players to grab the point in Seville that will stun Europe and take them to Germany 2024. 

Clarke and his squad are sitting top of Group A going into tonight’s showdown with Spain knowing a draw would be enough to secure a place in next summer’s finals.

A whole range of permutations could now come into play if the top seeds avenge the 2-0 loss at Hampden in March which turned the group on its head.

Clarke could conceivably be left sweating into Sunday night when Luis de la Fuente takes his all-stars to Oslo knowing anything other than a Norway win would seal the deal.
