That's the verdict of former Chelsea ace Claude Makelele, who has urged the Ecuador international to take his leadership qualities to the next level.

Asked about the comparisons between himself and the 24-year-old, Makelele (below) said: "He can be the best but there are many, many, many good midfielders.
