Broad predicts gamble

STUART BROAD expects England to throw Jofra Archer into the Test match mix against India.

Stress reactions in his right elbow and lower back have been chiefly responsible for his absence from Tests since winning the last of his 13 caps in February 2021.

And after his return to the white-ball ranks earlier this season, a spanner was thrown in the works when Archer injured his right thumb in the Indian Premier League.
