May watched in awe from the sidelines as Arundell scored five tries in his first World Cup start in the 71-0 thrashing of Chile in Lille on Saturday night.

Wing Arundell now has seven tries from nine caps, including one with his first international touch against Australia last summer, and is pushing for a starting place in the knockouts, possibly at May’s expense.
