HE LOVES RIVALS TALKING POLLOCKS

ENGLAND boss Steve Borthwick has warned Ireland they are wasting their time if they try and wind up Henry Pollock this weekend.

Borthwick yesterday handed the 21-year-old his first England start and then urged him to get the Twickenham crowd jumping for joy from the word go on Saturday.

Pollock (right) has been a lightning rod for opposition teams with his headband, blonde hair and exuberant try celebrations and was targeted by Bordeaux-Begles players in Northampton's Champions Cup final defeat last season.

But Borthwick insists Pollock feeds off it and can give England fans something to cheer about after their Calcutta Cup collapse against Scotland.

Borthwick said: “He seems to thrive on that, doesn't he? It seems to just keep fuelling more of the energy that is within him. I find it incredible watching him. There are not many players like him.
