A UNIVERSITY is set to run a course on Bruce Springsteen, as the Daily Star revealed this week.

Fans of the rocker - nicknamed The Boss - can study his work at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, US. But they won't be the first students paying to overthink an unusual subject.

Call yourself a Swiftie? Have you even studied the pop star at Harvard - the US equivalent of Oxford or Cambridge? Their course, called Taylor Swift and Her World, takes students “through Swift's own catalogue, including hits, deep cuts, outtakes [and] re-recordings”.
