PADDY McGuinness was secretly battling depression behind the scenes of Take Me Out.

The TV presenter says that despite the “fun, party atmosphere” of the show, he was “mentally burnt out” due to his family’s struggles with autism.

He said: “Sometimes I'd be in the dressing room, literally dealing with something on the phone at home and stressing about it.
