SIMON Cowell has vowed to tell his son Eric if he's talentless.

The TV mogul thinks it's vital to be brutally honest - even if it's to his own family.

He said: “If Eric said to me, ‘I want to be a singer’ and he couldn't sing, I would be absolutely honest with him.

“If he couldn’t, I would say, ‘You know what, be a drummer.”
