A PUB landlord is offering punters a discount for paying in cash as bank charges bite.

Alan Davies, 53, said card payments cost him roughly £5 for every £50 spent.

So locals at the Trumpet Inn, near Ledbury, Heref, now get 5% off food and drink if they opt for cash.
