BRITAIN’S summer scorcher supercharged crops so much cider is now too potent to sell to pubs.
Glorious sunshine led to more sugar in fruit, leading to soaring alcohol levels.
But small-scale cider makers find it hard to flog anything over 8.4% ABV. Some batches are pushing a whopping 10.5%.
