ALLEN FIRES A TORP-EDO OF HIS OWN
Daily Star
|October 27, 2025
FRANK LAMPARD insisted Victor Torp's absence from Coventry's win over Watford was nothing more than a precaution.
Rumours spread like wild fire among Sky Blues fans when the Dane wasn't on the teamsheet on Saturday.
But head coach Lampard said: "He had a tight calf which is not an injury. It was a precaution [to leave him out] so hopefully he'll be training with us next week."
Jamie Allen replaced the midfielder and scored a Torp-type goal with a powerful strike into the bottom corner in the seventh minute.
