Derby day the perfect stage for Isak
LIVERPOOL'S perfect start to the Premier League season should continue in the lunchtime Merseyside derby at Anfield today but don't expect it to be easy.
David Moyes' visiting Everton side haven't faced the most difficult start to their campaign but have certainly bounced back from their opening-day defeat to Leeds and have climbed to a respectable sixth in the table with two wins and a draw. But Arne Slot's reigning champions have shown time and again recently that they can always find a way to win.
They go into the derby on the back of five wins but four of those have been thanks to a stoppage-time goal from the Reds, while the other, against Arsenal, came via an 83rdminute strike.
The Anfield side are 12-25 with Coral for the home win - and that's no surprise given they've lost just two of their last 52 Premier League matches at home.
Everton are a massive 13-2 with Betfair for the away win, having won just one derby at Anfield in the last 28 in all competitions.
The draw is as big at 19-5 with BetMGM but my money's got to be on Slot's side.
