Foxes goal-den boy Mavididi pops up to end drought

LEICESTER fans waited a frustrating 797 minutes for a goal and were then treated to two.

Stephy Mavididi took the honours for ending the Foxes run of eight without a goal with his 38th-minute strike as Ruud van Nistelrooy’s strugglers earned only their fourth point of 2025.

It means that Leicester will see out Easter before relegation is confirmed. But that should take nothing away from the ecstatic scenes in the away end at the Amex Stadium.

Surely never has a 2-2 draw at Brighton been celebrated so wildly.
