Domestic toil's driving us on says Ange

ANGE POSTECOGLOU believes Tottenham have used the pain of their Premier League struggles to aid their push for European glory.

The Aussie, who is now just 90 minutes away from ending Spurs’ 17-year wait for silverware, insists his team have turned domestic frustration into positive energy on the long and winding road to Bilbao.

He said ahead of today’s clash against Crystal Palace: “It’s been in many respects an extraordinary one in terms of the extremes of everything we've gone through.

“You understand that on one end of the spectrum you've got a disappointing league season and at the other extreme you've got the possibility of a real significant day in the history of this club.
