Owls of frustration affect Wednesday before Leeds trip

DI'SHON BERNARD admits the atmosphere at Sheffield Wednesday is 'tense' ahead of today's Yorkshire derby with Leeds United.

It emerged at a fans forum this week that Owls boss Danny Rohl and chairman Dejphon Chansiri (below) have not spoken since December.

And there are fears that the rift between the two could end up derailing Wednesday's season.

Rohl's men are in the playoff picture heading into today's showdown with Leeds at Elland Road.

And while Bernard has stressed the club's off-field issues are not affecting the team, he does confirm the players are only too aware of all the noise from above.

He admitted: "I am not going to lie. I'd be lying if I said we don't hear about it (off-the-field tensions). Obviously, we do.
