Migrant housing appeal

LANDLORDS are being urged by the Government to give immigrants homes.

The call comes after the number of migrants arriving in the UK from across the Channel hit a record high for the year.

Private contractor Serco is offering landlords five-year guaranteed full rent deals to house asylum seekers at the taxpayers' expense.
