IT'S MER OF THE SAME FOR MIKEL

MIKEL MERINO is not getting carried away with Manchester City's stuttering start to the Premier League season and admitted he and his Arsenal teammates consider the tie a "big rivalry".

After the Myles Lewis-Skellyinspired trouncing of the previous campaign (above), Merino (below) reckons the Gunners can repeat the dose off the back of a convincing midweek win at Athletic Bilbao.

"Yeah, I mean, obviously it's a big rivalry against City," he said.

"We want to win for our fans, we know it's going to be a tough game, but I think we have the tools, we have the players, we've seen that everybody is really involved.
