I've no regrets signing my deal I'll stay until the job is done, When we come back it'll be 'Wow'
PEP GUARDIOLA insists he has no regrets about signing his new Manchester City contract, claiming he would have sleepless nights if he walked out.
City have lost three of their six games, winning just one, since Guardiola agreed his new two-year deal during last month’s international break.
He is fired up to turn around the biggest crisis of his 14-year coaching career and says he could not leave City like this.
“Absolutely not,” he said defiantly. “I would regret leaving now. I could not sleep, even worse than now, if I thought I was leaving them in this situation. Impossible.
“They could sack me, it can happen, but leaving now, no chance. If my boss Khaldoon (al Mubarak) is not happy with me, they can do it. But leaving now in this position, no chance. No, no, no.”
Guardiola will have completed 11 years at City if he fulfils his new contract and says he will step down when he feels his time is over.
