Hull's Bourouh has taken his chance

AFTER years playing second fiddle, Hull’s Amir Bourouh is finally getting the top job - and loving it.

The ex-Wigan hooker has made the No.9 role his own since switching from Salford in the off-season.

Everywhere he has played before, he’s struggled to do that.

But ahead of his first return to Salford today, Bourouh has already made 15 appearances for Hull, all starts - and more than he has done in any season previously.

He's only missed one game for John Cartwright’s side and said: "It’s been really good playing regularly.

“At other clubs, I've not had the trust in that position to be playing week in, week out, so I'm grateful.
