CHARLIE ADAM doesn't doubt Youssef Chermiti will eventually prove to be a sound £8million investment for Rangers.

But, in terms of his old club reaping title dividends now, he says they must add a new striker to help the youngster.

Former Rangers star Adam knows Portuguese Chermiti better than most, having coached him for five months at Everton under David Moyes.

He believes the former Sporting Lisbon frontman has all the attributes to be a success at Ibrox but reckons, if Danny Rohl's side hope to be serious Premiership contenders, Chermiti needs assistance.
