NATHANIEL COLLINS was halfway to paradise when he let his heart rule his head and wrecked his world title dream.

The featherweight seemed comfortably ahead of Cristobal Lorente by five rounds to one in what ‘was seen as a world title eliminator at Braehead Arena on Saturday night.

Cue arush of blood as he allowed the slow-starting Spaniard back in.

Six rounds later, the judges declared a split draw - one card per fighter at 115-113 and a 114-114 draw on the other.

It left Collins dismayed as he said: “I'm gutted.
