Wilson: Fans could really take to Sean

MARK WILSON says talented Celtic teen Sean McArdle has the creativity to unlock the door into Partick Thistle’s “congested” midfield department.

The 18-year-old joined Hoops teammates Ben McPherson and Josh Clarke on loan at Firhill this week ahead of second-top Jags looking to go within three points of the top at home to Arbroath.

Boss Wilson said: “He’s a player with huge potential at Celtic. I've seen him play and be involved in their first-team environment, he trains a lot with their first team.

“They've got high hopes for him, somebody we were talking to them for a while about. I know we're congested in that area but he’s different to the midfielders we've got in terms of his creativity and how he glides with the ball.
